How NOT To Hack Times Square

This YouTube clip is currently ‘doing the rounds’. Entitled ‘how to hack video screens on times square‘ it is of course completely faked…

… even if you assumed that the guy in the video made something that could emulate a DVI/VGA signal, the transmitter would have to be REALLY powerful (for example, if he was 10 metres away he’d have to be pumping out hundreds of watts of finely-calibrated signal) AND that’s assuming of course that any screens / billboards on Times Square use radio waves for video transmission or would be affected by same.
