Scandinavia and Denmark in particular is one region where retailers really seem to have got to grips with the use of digital signage – or perhaps it’s that local suppliers and vendors (because that is what we are seeing – local vendors, not necessarily the big players are winning this business), know how to sell to retail.
Mermaid Technology / Acrossmedia have supplied a tailored solution to 24 of COOP’s Kvickly stores.
Martin Jöhncke, Operations and Development Manager, at COOP told us that “the introduction of digital signage is based on the desire to increase sales and emphasise the branding and credibility of the Kvickly name and products”
He added “We have carried out thorough tests of digital signage solutions in five carefully selected Kvickly stores, focusing on the bakery and fast food concept near the entrance area. We were pleased to learn that sales increased and that the monitors added to the appearance of the stores as well as the customers’ purchase experience”
