Problems continue to plague the Middle East and we don’t just mean for the tin-pot dictators. News reaches us that Digital Signage Middle East 2011 [1] fresh from the more recent ‘Pay To Speak In The Middle East [2]‘ scandal have now had to move the event entirely from its original April date (18th and 19th with workshops 16th and 20th) to the 5th – 8th of June.
The reason given was “due to the political situation throughout the region which has caused difficulties in traveling” – that may have paid a part BUT we suspect a lack of folks willing to stump up anywhere between USD 2500 to 4500 for a delegate pass may have had something to do with the postponement as well!
