The Institut Français du Design (French Institute of Design) has awarded Christie Digital its second Janus Industrial Design award for its MicroTiles modular digital signage solution. In 2010, it received the Janus Industrial Integrated Design Award.
This year, it received Eco-Design Award at the Janus awards ceremony held in Paris on 11 April at the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council. The event was attended by government ministers Frédéric Lefèbvre – Ministry of Commerce (for Craft Industries, Small Businesses, Tourism, Services, Professionals and Consumption) and Pierre Lellouche – Ministry of International Trade.
The Janus Eco-Design Award promotes products and services with reduced environmental impact, from the selection of materials, throughout the manufacturing stage, distribution channels and use by the consumer, to the end of its life. It is supported by the French Agency for Environmental and Energy Management (ADEME).
