Last weekend, Shoreditch, East London was bustling with folks attending Beck’s Art Crawl to mark its 25th anniversary. As part of the Art Crawl, people were able to check maps available on Clear Channel’s 6 sheet bus shelters around the area to find participating pubs, check-in on Facebook and be in with a chance of winning artwork by Tracy Emin, Jeff Coons and Tim Head.

Clear Channel’s Create team also commissioned digital 6 sheet screens around Shoreditch showing exclusive interviews with an array of famous artists and where people could plug in their headphones and listen to the content.

Art Crawl LIVE also offered 100 pre-registered members of the public the chance to take part in a themed Shoot Experience event. Participants were challenged to create their own Art Label, armed with a camera and the streets of London as their canvas.

Neil Chapman, Group Head in Create at Clear Channel UK, told us “Beck’s Label Art is an iconic campaign and this is a fantastic event to mark the 25 year anniversary of the brand. Beck’s are always keen to be innovative with their advertising and using our 52” LCDs to deliver artist interviews, in the same manner as you would listen to an audio guide at an exhibition, is a great example of this. It’s a really engaging extension to their on-trade activity.”
