It’s Not Going To Be MinQii :(

Professor Robert Thompson, an educator and researcher in the field of popular culture has said it was an insightful idea† and surely the reference (albeit obliquely) to a ‘celebrity supercouple‘ is not such a bad thing BUT word reaches us (perhaps not surprisingly) that MinQii is not likely to be the name finally given to the recent merger of EnQii and Minicom Digital Signage.
Do expect a new name to be announced in a few weeks time at #InfoComm11 in Orlando however.
†He may have been referring to ‘Brangelina’
