Asics, a leading sports shoe and apparel brand is sponsoring the mysterious “interactive” DOOH event in Times Square  that we talked about a while back  that coincides with this weekend’s New York City Marathon.
This campaign, which is a collaboration between several companies; Asics’ agency of record, VitroRobertson , SinglePoint , Show + Tell , and Wishoo  runs from 31st October to 2nd November.
People can visit the ING NYC Marathon Expo  being held at the Jacob Javitz Conference Center in Manhattan and there they can have a photo taken on a green screen whilst selecting various types of background scenes – errr, like crossing the finish line of the marathon 😉
Each photo will be “presented” along with the participant’s name on the ABC Supersign in Times Square. After the photos are taken, a text message will be sent to the individuals telling them what time the photo will be viewable on the sign.
