Rumour had it that Brian Carnell‘s next sinecure was at Oracle Corp. but it seems this is not true. What is true is that he has left Cisco and he tells us that he is spending time with his family.

Brian was at Cisco for 5 years and 1 month and many will know him for his work with digital signage. notably his failure to get any Cisco senior management interested in their ‘ad manager / ad exchange’ initiative.

Brian told us “I do plan to do some work in the Digital Signage industry, as time permits, with folks who I believe lend value and can help move the industry forward. Having been in the industry for over 12 years, with my humble roots in the early days at USPS, I do feel a part of the revolution and I want to keep it going”.
