London’s newest mall

There are 10 screens already installed and a further four planned for installation. The contract is forecast to be worth in excess of GBP 1.5m.

One New Change, a Land Securities development, opened in October last year and has already established itself as a leading London shopping destination which is iconic in terms of its location and architecture. There are 60 stores in total with flagship retail brands including H&M, Hugo Boss, Reiss, Topshop, M&S Foods, Kurt Geiger, Links of London, and Swarovski. The centre also houses an eclectic group of restaurants and cafes, including Jamie Oliver’s Barbecoa and another renowned chef, Gordon Ramsey due to open a new restaurant in September.

CBS Outdoor UK’s country director Jason Cotterrell said “This is totally on brief for us and sits well with our retail strategy. There are great synergies with Westfield’s London properties, and it fully supports our digital and retail proposition in London.”

“With our premium London retail pedigree and track record of market beating digital growth, we are the strongest and most secure partner for One New Change. Our market position as the leading Out of Home specialist in the UK with the largest digital and poster network in the capital provides a perfect fit with this asset. Our packaging will focus on a combined sell across all our centres so creating a potent proposition for advertisers wishing to reach shoppers in the capital. Westfield Stratford City will strengthen this proposition further still.”

In terms of audience, One New Change has a footfall of 12 million annually and will deliver to advertisers a valuable, high end shopping audience that is young and upscale (90% ABC1).
