Ad Club of Toronto: The Great Outdoors

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

This year, the Ad Club of Toronto celebrates THE GREAT OUTDOORS with a networking event and out-of-home industry showcase, set in the heart of Queen West/Liberty Village at one of Toronto’s newest event spaces, 99 Sudbury.

The format is a networking event with multiple food and drink stations, capturing both the late lunch and after-work crowds. A former glass factory and now a multipurpose event venue, 99 Sudbury boasts high ceilings, exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, two stunning 1,000 square-foot decks and even two small outdoor ponds.

Showcasing out-of-home advertising as The Natural Choice, this year the club is taking its theme outdoorsy and back to basics. Imagine camping, fishing, pitching tents, eating S’Mores…everything that embodies the great outdoors, all the while nestled in the ‘woods’ of trendy Liberty Village.

It’s happening Wednesday, September 21, 2011, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There’s also an after-Party to follow: location TBD.

Tickets cost $95 for media suppliers and vendors and $45 for agencies and clients. For more information and sponsorship opportunities contact Lynne Brady at lbrady@grassrootsadvertising.com
