Michael Mascioni has been named to a project management and liaising role for the US Digital Out-of-Home Interactive Entertainment Network Association (DNA) Conference planned to take place in March, 2012.

As project manager, Mascioni will handle the extensive organization duties for this first US event schedule. That will mean supporting developer manufacturers and operators in the Digital Out-of-Home interactive entertainment (DOE) sector.

The DNA Conference is an international seminar for the DOE sector – covering manufacturers, suppliers and operators of video Amusement, Interactive digital attractions and simulators, content providers, digital kiosks, ExerGaming, KidTainment/Videmption, digital hospitality, RetailTainment and EduTainment.

Following the successful first gathering in the UK, KWP Limited, the owners of this innovative conference gathering for specialists in the DOE sector, have turned to Mascioni to drive forward the DNA US event.

Mascioni brings considerable conference planning and marketing experience in digital media. He served as program director of the conference ‘Revolutionizing Interactive Marketing in Public Places – the Mobile and Gestural Digital Signage Imperative’ and was a program planning consultant for CETW NYC in 2011 and for Screenmedia Expo in 2010.

Mascioni was also program director of the Intertainment conferences on interactive entertainment and managing editor of the A&A Monthly newsletter on Interactive Entertainment.

He does market research consulting in digital media, is a freelance writer on digital media for various publications, and has also written a number of white papers on interactive experiences in public places

Kevin Williams, director of the DNA Conference owner and organizer, KWP Limited, says that the UK conference opened a floodgate of interest towards moving forward with plans.

He says, “Along with KWP’s already established international track record in the interactive attractions, amusement, exer-gaming and edutainment fields, we will create a ‘must attend’ event for that already do, or want to – ‘Get It’ – regarding this emerging and profitable market.”
