Raffi Vartian Gone From CoolSign

Gail Chiasson, North American Editor

We’ve just learned that Raffi Vartian, one of the good guys, is no longer at CoolSign (Haivision Network Video), Beaverton, Oregon, and Montreal.

“The position of business development at Haivision was eliminated and I’m currently looking for opportunities,” Vartian told us.

“I have had the absolute pleasure of working with some of the finest people in the DOOH industry in my position in Business Development for CoolSign, (Haivision) both inside the company with my colleagues, and outside with other technology vendors and ecosystem partners.

“While I’m sad to no longer be attached to a company and product that I’m passionate about, I greatly look forward to the next professional chapter in my life.”

In August we were first to break the news ‘Lou Giacalone Exits Stage Left‘ and in March we wrote ‘Coolsign’s Loss Is Scala’s Gain‘ as Drew Topel, formerly VP of Technology at CS Holdings (CoolSign) joined Scala.

Seems to us that Raffi was the last senior employee from CoolSign left since Haivision took over the company. Hmmm!

I have had the pleasure of working with Raffi for a few years now. He’s a great guy, he knows how to make things happen and anyone in the digital signage industry would be lucky to get him.
