Spanish currency exchange company Maccorp Exact Change has a new digital window to attract its clients at the airport. The project, which includes a video wall network operating in Madrid Barajas Airport, supporting seven foreign exchange retail locations, has been a special subject at Madrid’s Total Media Digital Signage Show this week. Nick Gale Founder of Realisation and Gonzalo Rodrigues Castellon Commercial Director of Maccorp Exact Change will presented the details.

The programming and management of the network has been developed by Realisation and it is managed from the company’s offices in London. The digital signage application uses Onelan and the displays are ultra narrow bezel screens from Hyundai.

The project was developed in just three months and incorporates intelligent programming to present 80 currency offers in 11 languages across five different video wall screen configurations.

Gale explains: ” We are pleased to have been involved with this high performance project .  The commercial key is to improve customer engagement by analysis of flight arrival and departure schedules in order to make sure the right currency offer is made at the right time in the right language.

“Because of the various locations around the airport it is also necessary to adapt creative content to a range of screen configurations.  This has required over 200 content sequences to be created using 3D GGI and animation.

“With the Onelan NTB we can support 1×4 Video Walls from one player which makes the network very smart and cost effective. “

Exact Change is planning to extend the video wall network to other airports and train stations.
