With the news that Intel was shutting down its Digital Home Group [1] we wondered what would happen to the ex-BBC head of future media and technology, Erik Huggers who only joined Intel in February [2] to head the group.
In a brief twitter exchange [3] we learnt directly from Erik that he is staying at Intel, he told us “I love the beeb, but for now I have exciting plans with a new group called ‘Intel Media'”
Erik added “We are building a new group called “Intel Media”. Not much more I can share at this stage…”
