“My buddy hacked the music video queue at the local mall” so says soulfrequencies over on reddit [1] (the front page of the internet).
[1]Apparently, all the ‘hacker’ did was mess with the video queue.
We quote “Its <sic> not closed circuit, the interface to add songs is unprotected and accessible via local wifi in the mall, and a custom bot was involved in powerspamming votes via IP messaging so it perpetually fills all the slots in the queue”.
So, maybe hack was the wrong word. What word should we have used? err ‘Commandeered’ perhaps?
