Manchester Goes Digital, MOSI Museum

Tomorrow (Tuesday 22nd November 2011) The Screen is venturing up the M6 to explore the digital landscape of Manchester.

Working in conjunction with the organisers of #ISE2012 and NEC Displays, The Screen will see how Manchester is aggressively expanding its digital infrastructure, with innovative new installations from city centre, to airport, shopping mall and visitor attractions.

Manchester Goes Digital’ will be held alongside the NEC Northern Competence Day, at the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI).

Attendees will have a chance to explore the fantastic digital installations that have underpinned the multi-million pound revamp of this world-class exhibition space and hear the supporting business case from the Museum Director, Tony Hill.

To understand the wider impact of digital on the city – attendees will also hear from outdoor operators; EYE on the digital developments at Manchester’s Airport and Clear Channel on the work they are doing transforming The Trafford Shopping Centre and City Bars.

City Gateway Media will then cover the success of their iconic city centre displays.

The informal Breakfast Briefing will be held within the MOSI Museum and after the presentations, networking and a tour of the new digital galleries, attendees will also have the chance to view the latest videowall, display and projector technology on show at the NEC Northern Competence day.
