Concept Car Exterior Doubles As Digital Display

At the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011, Toyota has unveiled its new concept car, the Fun-Vii. Its exterior skin doubles as a digital display and it has an augmented-reality cockpit and internet and inter-vehicular connectivity.

The whole body of the concept car can be used as a display space, with the body colour and display content changeable at will – this takes Bob Rushby’s Pixels Everywhere theory to the next level, Ed

This of course allows the vehicle to function as a terminal for displaying messages, advertising or other information.
