Adapt Media To Rep 5,600 Mac Couche-Tard Digital Screens

Adapt Media [1] has become the largest provider of Convenience Store advertising in Canada, following a deal it inked as key representative for the Mac Couche-Tard Convenience Store [2] Digital Video Screen Network.

[3]Adapt was signed by iSign, which recently bought Pinpoint Media, owner of the network screens, to better showcase metrics and analytics offered in the Mac Couche-Tard 5,600 screen network. The network’s software management is by BroadSign [4].

In 2011, Adapt extended its proprietary c-store network by 1500 new locations – partly by taking over much of the former OBN digital signage – bringing its total, prior to the Mac deal, to over 3,000 stores nationally as the media supplier for a mix of static, backlit and digital signs. This also includes Adapt’s own network of 500 double-sided illuminated signs.

In addition to offering national advertising services in the c-store environment, Adapt also represents across Canada: over 80 large format full motion digital screens including The Ricoh Coliseum Gardiner Boards for MLSE in Toronto; retail media opportunities at major grocery chains such as Sobey’s, IGA, Metro and Safeway, T&T and more; Storeboard Entrance Pedestals in Zellers and Staples; Full Motion Digital Video Trucks; Bike Racks and lockers in Vancouver at Skytrain and Bus Stations; Cab Tops in Montreal; and Experiential Activations.

During 2011, the company, headed by Jamie Thompson, president, also moved into new offices on King Street West and added new staff, bring its total to 30. A new sales director is to be announced within a few days.
