Almost exactly a year on from news that Mermaid had acquired Headline.TV [1] comes news that Mermaid have reached a new agreement with petrol forecourt supplier / retailer Q8.
[2]Mermaid and Q8 have collaborated closely with Instore TV, which plays a major role in Q8’s ‘Qvik To Go [2]’ shop concept, since 2006.
This new agreement however sees Mermaid as a turnkey supplier, as opposed to just one that supplies software.
Mermaid will now provide hardware, software and content and will manage the platform as well. Q8’s digital Instore TV network will included 100 petrol stations.
