Mocopay Wins Paybefore Award

Paybefore has chosen Mocapay, Denver, as a 2012 Paybefore Awards winner in the Best Virtual, Digital or Mobile Prepaid Application category.
By integrating mobile payments, mobile loyalty and mobile marketing, Mocopay offers a suite of services to merchants that not only allows them to take advantage of the latest in payment tender technology, but engage with their customers inside and outside of a physical location. The Mocapay mobile commerce solution offers merchants the ability to create incentives, loyalty and marketing programs, and accept payments, all through a customer’s handsets.
Paybefore Awards, now in its sixth year, is a prestigious recognition of excellence in the worldwide prepaid and stored value industry. The awards are presented annually by Paybefore, whose publications are a majorsource of industry information for the global prepaid community.

Unlike other mobile commerce solutions on the market, the Mocapay solution doesn’t transfer, store or show customer sensitive data when conducting a transaction, so no sensitive data is transferred to the merchant or stored on the device, creating a more secure transaction for both parties.
Mocapay will now vie for best-in-category distinction, which will be announced during the Paybefore Awards ceremony on March 12 at the Prepaid Expo USA at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas.
