Interesting move from Primesight who have just announced that they’ve secured the sales and marketing agreement for advertising on 2,700 digital till screens in 1,270 Martin McColl† stores nationwide. The screens offer full motion or animation giving advertisers a powerful impact both within the stores and particularly whilst customers undertake their transactions, making it an effective POS communication to target impulse purchases.
Naren Patel, Primesight CEO told us “We have been leading the way in this sector for over ten years and see this as the perfect step into the digital POS market. The combination of both traditional outdoor and digital will give our clients a truly unique POS offering”
We’ve written about Martin McColl a few times, back in May 2008 ‘Martin McColls – 1,289 Stores This Summer‘ and it looks like Primesight have taken then McColl business away from Retail Marketing International (nee ABC Media).
This digital offering can be bought separately or as a compliment to Primesight’s existing national convenience 6 sheet POS sale offering.
