7th Digital Signage Investor Conference, NYC

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

It’s hard to believe that it will be the Strategy Institute’s 7th Digital Signage Investor Conference this October in New York City.

Yep, the 7th – no doubt making it the most successful Strategy Institute event by a long way in our particular industry. It will be the fourth that Gail and I have covered and the third in a row that I have co-chaired.

Yes, once again the audience will have to put up with the story about ein Mann, der einen Hund rettet!, myself and the charming, super smart and super smartly dressed Mr Stephen Nesbit.

As I write this Mr Nesbit will be boarding a plane for London. He’s off to speak at next week’s #digitalsignageasia event and will be stopping off to spend Sunday with me so that we can go through the proposed speaker list one more time.

This conference is always one of the highlights of the year. Steve (he told us once that only his mother and his ex-wife called him Stephen) and I have already been working on an agenda and we have already lined up two of the first speakers – a certain man who tends to muse, rant and generally cause a nuisance of himself (but unlike me, in a nice way) AND a certain CEO of one of the most prominent companies in our industry.

More on the event, the agenda and the hotel where the event will be held as it all becomes clear.

This year the DPAA Digital Media Summit on Oct. 16 will precede the Strategy Institute Digital Signage Investor Conference on Oct. 17 and 18.

Adrian dear, are you lamenting the infrequent use of Steve’s first name spelling only to then spell the last name wrong…or was that extra ‘t’, a salute to British Tea? Great conference, looking forward to it!
