#mpdooh How A Retailer Sees DOOH

Well, the MediaPost Digital Out-of-Home Forum [1] is finally here (Wednesday 11th April) and I will be in New York covering the event as I did last year. I do hope it is as good as in 2011 but somehow I am not so sure it will be (but we will see).

[2]One session that should be interesting will be at 9:30 a.m. when Jim Harris, CEO of Wall Street Journal Office Network [3] takes the stage with Tricia Nichols, global lead, consumer engagement and media strategy, Gap Brand at Gap Inc. [4].

Harris says, “The session I am facilitating at the MediaPost conference on Wednesday has evolved into what I think should be a really interesting conversation with Nichols.

“Nichols understands the value of connecting with consumers in public spaces. In this keynote conversation on What Marketers Really Want From Digital Out-of-Home Media, she will share her views on the rapidly changing technologies, ideas and creativity reshaping how, why and when marketers connect with consumers via digital out-of-home media, and what role it plays in their broader mix.”

We expect that Harris will be asking Nichols a lot of pertinent questions, as Gap is very active in the field.
