#ScreenmediaExpo NCR’s Wayfinding At Booth C9

At Booth C9, NCR will be showcasing its wayfinding solution that just was deployed with great success at Dubai International Airport.

Jerry Zeephat, solution manager for digital signage – who, by the way, is in the process of moving from Dallas to NCR’s Atlanta headquarters – told us that the company is currently very active in the Middle East with several activities underway there.

In addition, the booth will be showing NCR’s traditional signage screens, plus new kiosk hardware (named Atlanta) that Zeephat says is “very sexy, very slim, and can be used for self service for any variety of offerings. It can also dispense coupons and cards.”

Also at the booth will be an interactive touch screen that will highlight six different activities depending on the interest of the user. Among them are, eg., for cruise lines as done for Carnival; retail, as done for Cabela sporting goods; human resources as done for a transport company, and more.

“People know us well for our retail and financial work in cash registers, point-of-sale and ATMs,” says Zeephat. “ScreenMedia Expo will allow us to show off some of our other offerings and to make contact with customers and potential customers. We are quite active in the UK, so this will also allow us to meet with some of our UK customers face-to-face.”

NCR is a public company operating in nine countries, with 20,000 employees and nearly $6 billion in revenue.
