Next week of course is ‘NRF 98th Annual Convention & EXPO‘ and we think we can expect a lot of announcements from various vendors both in the lead up to the show and at the event itself.
Rumour is that Scala are set to announce (already having opened) a German office probably in Hamburg or Düsseldorf sometime this week.
We have often taken digital signage vendors to task for not being as ‘global’ as they like to make out but fair play to Scala who are now putting people on the streets (i.e. a proper presence) to cover a region – DACH*, that we have always said is a big growth market.
*DACH – Deutschland, Austria, CH = Switzerland) that we have always said is a big growth area for digital out of home.
