Largest UK Digital Screens outside London

Wow!!!
I have just seen two giant Digital Screens in Glasgow, Scotland. I am told that they are the largest outside of London.
They are both situated in George Square.
They are pretty recent (went live June 2007).
Ocean Outdoor tell me that media is sold in a standard slot of 20 seconds every 2 minutes. In addition to advertising there is also pure content.
The screens have all the usual digital capabilities such as instant updating, accountability, flexible selling day-part, daily etc
I didn’t sit and watch all these commmercials (I promise I am not that sad!!) but I saw several of them, advertisers to date include: –
- French Connection
- McDonald’s
- Intel
- Microsoft
- Vodafone
- Bacardi
- 20th Century Fox – Simpson’s
- Ford
