retailcommon enables business-to-consumer companies to drive consumers to physical locations by providing them with a software service that delivers e-coupons to consumers’ mobile devices.

“There are over 8 million smartphone users in Canada, a number that is growing daily,” says James Cunningham, retailcommon CEO. “The mobile space is becoming an increasingly important medium for businesses to reach their consumers. We are very encouraged that Beam has chosen retailcommon to help amplify their brands.”

It offers a top-of-the-line product that is easy to use and provides us with increased insight into our consumer.”

retailcommon enables retailers, consumer product or service companies to create mobile coupons for promotion and delivery to existing and new customers through digital and legacy media, and track response and redemption data. Unlike most other coupon services, retailcommon allows its clients to control pricing, margin, content and distribution, while maintaining ownership over the customer and tracking data. retailcommon has previously run successful pilot projects with companies such as Salomon and The North Face.

retailcommon’s solution allows businesses to reach existing and new customers through email, Facebook, Twitter, SMS and QR code. Furthermore, promotions can be shared using social media allowing the client to amplify its reach. The solution also provides client businesses with insight into which social media platforms are allowing them to best reach their customers.
