i-design Group Plc ORD GBP0.10 (IDG)

i-design, the folks behind the innovative ATM:ad get a very brief mention in The Scotsman (UK Newspaper) on 29th December 2007 in an article non-DOOH related about the slowdown in businesses listing on the UK’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

i-design Group Plc ORD GBP0.10 (IDG) of course came to AIM in 2007, initially opening at 73 pence, dipping immediately below that and then climbing back up to the opening price, but then falling markedly to where they are now at around 57 pence.

We firmly believe that one of the problems of many of the DOOH companies on AIM is lack of communication, the companies do not talk to the industry (for fear of giving something away), they do not talk (correctly) or often enough to the City and they do little to garner excitement with (potential) retail investors.

DailyDOOH gets a third of its UK traffic from the investor forums such as ADVFN and Interactive Investor so our researchers monitor them every day and very carefully.

While the forums for ASG and SCT are active (SCT was ‘victim’ if that is the word of a rampant ramping attempt between Xmas and the New Year and their share price shot up 30 – 70% during one particular day), those forums for AWR, IME, ISD, IDG, MDZ, SFX etc are very quiet and in some cases inactive.

In 2008 we hope that all those companies above that are listed on AIM to do a better job in communicating with the industry, the City and of course the all important (potential) retail investors.
