Pattison Onestop, Art for Commuters and Workman Arts will co-present the art project Beneath the Surface, exploring what is hidden, sublimated, or just out of reach, to mark World Mental Health Day October 10.

Visual stories by six Toronto-based artists will play every 10 minutes on Pattison Onestop’s network of Toronto Transit Commission subway screens from October 6 to October 14, 2012.

“It‘s a privilege for the artists to have such a prominent venue to show their work,” says Lisa Brown, founder and executive artistic director of Workman Arts. “We salute Pattison Onestop for presenting this exhibition,”

Beneath the Surface artists are: Saraƒin, Catherine Jones, Michael Morbach, Annette Seip, STRanger (Sheri Ranger), and Jace Tracz.
