Daktronics (Nasdaq – DAKT) of Brookings, S.D., announced this week that the company has partnered with Eye and Qantas to manufacture and install new LED video displays in the Qantas Domestic Terminals in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, Australia.

The new display network, which consists of displays measuring nearly 3 meters high by 9 meters wide (8‘ x 29’) in the Sydney and Melbourne locations and displays measuring 2 meters high by 7 meters wide (6.5‘ x 22’) in Brisbane and Perth locations, will be used exclusively for showing advertising and sponsor messages to travelers and airport visitors.

Two additional displays – one at each end of the main display – will include flight information display systems operated by Qantas. These displays measure nearly 3 meters high by 4 meters wide (8’ x 13.5’) in Sydney and Melbourne and measure 2 meters high by 3 meters wide (6.5’ x 10.5’) in Brisbane and Perth. All displays feature 6 millimeter line spacing.
