signagelive To Launch Desktop Edition At ISE

Jason Cremins, CEO of Remote Media Limited, the company behind signagelive told us earlier today “We look forward to unveiling the signagelive desktop edition at ISE 2009 (3rd-5th February, Amsterdam RAI, Stand 12B84) and welcome resellers, strategic partners and end user to our stand for a hands-on demonstration of our signagelive platform.” – it’s also something that we are most definitely looking forward to seeing as well.

The signagelive developers (we hope some of them are there at ISE) have continued innovating at a pretty incredible pace (rumours of links to things like salesforce.com keep cropping up) and it will be good to have a good long chat about what else they planning for 2009.

The new signagelive desktop will, we are told, provide the corporate and public sector a simple, scalable and cost effective solution for delivering rich media content over a standard Fixed or Mobile Internet connection to individuals, teams and departments anywhere in the world.

Using the signagelive Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, administrators can login from a standard web browser and upload, schedule and distribute a comprehensive range of media content including Video, Images, Web pages, RSS feeds and IPTV live streams.

The signagelive layout creator enables pixel accurate multi-zone layouts to be designed online in any combination of style and templates required.

Playlists of layouts and media can be created and scheduled for play back for any date and time required allowing for key announcements to be preset ready for use on a required date and time and for a set period of time.

Users can be grouped into any configuration required to allow for tailored media and layouts to be scheduled and distributed to specific departments, teams and sites.

Comprehensive live monitoring and reporting tools provide total control of every connected user enabling 100% compliance. Standard reports and dashboards detailed when users receive the content and when they have viewed the scheduled media.

Interestingly the signagelive desktop edition can be configured to operate as a screensaver or as a live alert where a taskbar notification alerts the user to the arrival of new content ready to be viewed !!!

Jason told us “The signagelive desktop edition extends the power of our award winning Software as a Service Digital Signage platform to the desktop and laptop”

He added “When used in conjunction with our existing signagelive display edition, the desktop edition enables companies of any size and market sector to communicate with their employees and customers through a single web-based platform.”

We look forward to taking a look for ourselves.
