#dse2013 Denise MacDonell Managing What?

Denise MacDonell will lead VW16 ‘Managing Complexity: From Deployment to Ongoing Network Management‘ on Wednesday, February 27, 2:45 p.m. — 3:45 p.m. in Meeting Room D at #dse2013

Harris Corporation will share its experience planning and implementing the rollout of Harris Digital Signage solutions to 1,000 auto dealerships in 2012 [1]. Automotive Broadcast Networks (ABN) launched its Dealer TV service in 2008 to enhance the automotive retail experience for customers and better control sales environments. The Harris digital out-of-home (DOOH) solution brings targeted content, broadcast-quality graphics, superior video quality and rich data to all screens in the network. ABN monitors and manages targeted content in the showrooms, service departments and welcome areas. Local dealerships can also upload content to ABN for placement on the applicable screens, and control content delivery by location.

Seriously? We mean SERIOUSLY? Why doesn’t Denise share the debacle that is 7-Eleven [2] instead?

We are quite sure that what Harris could teach anyone about the intricacies of a digital signage or digital out of home rollout could be written on the head of a pin.

Speaking of pin heads – this is site is such garbage. I’m not for or against Harris, but this mouth that has no experience running large scale (such as the one referenced) continues to babble along. I can’t image anyone finding much value on this site aside from Stratacache and Broadsign (of which, I personally refused to engage with on a large project due to their affiliation with this ridiculous op-ed site).

Can’t wait for this site’s ‘expert’ review of digital signage software, it’s a good laugh each year.

Adrian – you’re such an expert, why don’t you schedule a a seminar and educate us … I’ll be in the front row.

Also, very low class picking on individuals the way you have Denise. Shame on you … I’m rather certain several others share this view. Enjoy those handshakes at DSE.
