Samsung-Visa Deal Expected to Boost NFC

We see that Visa recently formed a global alliance with Samsung in which all next-generation Samsung NFC smart phones will have the Visa payWave application embedded on the device.
The agreement is also designed to bring more financial institutions on board since they can use Visa’s Mobile Provisioning Service to securely upload customers’ payment account information onto NFC-enabled Samsung phones.
The agreement is expected to give NFC (Near Field Communications) a much-needed boost, since Visa is a trusted payment brand, while Samsung is a top smartphone manufacturer in terms of shipments and a driving force behind the increasingly popular Android device platform
