We started our research for this year’s #DSTop10 list with not one but two technical meetings with Scala at #dse2013 last week.

First off, we spent two hours with Peter Cherna, Senior Vice President, Technology and his CEO Tom Nix, followed the next day by looking in more detail at their latest software preview.

Between now and November (when we announce our #DSTop10) we will be spending a 1/2 day or full day each with potential candidates; next stop Montreal, Toronto and Florida.
