The Digital Place-based Advertising Association has upped its membership for 46 with the addition of enVu and Elevate Digital as its newest members.

New York-based enVu, a STRATACACHE company, specializes in motion-based technology to engage consumers. Its floor projections in malls both advertise and entertain. enVu is currently in 134 malls across the U.S., including the Top 30 DMAs.

Chicago-based Elevate Digital specializes in interactive indoor and outdoor kiosks.

Jim Farrell, enVu’s new executive vice-president of sales, knew the DPAA from his days with Captivate Network and says that he moved quickly to have enVu become a member.

“It was a no-brainer,” he says. “DPAA is the premier association to represent digital networks to senior executives, clients and agencies, and to bring networks together to discuss common issues. It has many committees that are valuable to deal with various topics.”

The Elevate Digital product offers its interactive displays in high-foot traffic areas. It engages the consumer through content, services and connective advertising, allowing the advertiser to speak directly with consumer. In addition to providing information, the Elevate Digital application allows users to share apps, deals, ads, branded photos which create a fun interaction and help spread the advertisers’ message through social/mobile sharing.
