Genius Bar Unveiled At The DailyDOOH Investor Conference

Four industry experts have kindly offered to be available to man our ‘Genius Bar’ during The DailyDOOH Investor Conference, being held Oct 23 and Oct 24 part of New York Digital Signage Week.

Between them, we hope, they cover the main aspects of our industry; the agency world (including media buying and planning), content, display technology and software.

  • ManoloManolo Almagro has over 15+ years of expertise working for global brands. He has retained consultancy assignments in the US and Asia region, using his unique background to provide strategic direction on emerging digital trends and opportunities.   • SONY DSCAndrew Neale is Technical Director at IGCH Ltd. (the owners of DailyDOOH), and co-founder and co-owner of Kaleidovision Ltd, a UK based company that specialises in the design, development, implementation and management of digital media networks. Over the past 20 years, Andrew’s work has involved IT infrastructure, OEM manufacture, TV broadcast, music systems, digital signage, high-end display and video wall systems and generic AV systems. His hands-on operational roles have given him a wide experience not just of the technical aspects of business, but also in planning and strategy, project management, client and supplier relationships. In 2009 Andrew co-published the Issy-Neale Formula, which is designed to provide a common framework for describing shapes of video displays made of smaller screen elements, and in 2012 co-authored ‘How MicroTiles Made An Impact At The London Stock Exchange’. Andrew has been actively involved in the OpenSplash media player project since its inception, and is a member of its technical Steering Group.
  • RichVenturaRichard Ventura is the Director of Sales for Vertical Solutions at NEC Display Solutions of Americas. The Vertical Solutions team is focused on the Retail and Restaurant markets. Their goal is to deliver industry leading LCD displays, projectors, digital signage solutions, and other display solutions to these rapidly growing vertical markets. Richard has been with NEC for over 12 years and has focused on delivering display and projector solutions to customers in the Retail, QSR, Education, Medical, Financial, and Corporate markets. He has an extensive history in working with multiple partners in the industry and is focused on building stronger solutions for the industry as a whole. Also, Richard serves on the Board of Directors for the Digital Signage Federation as well as Chairs the Advocacy and Outreach Committee. Richard carries an MBA from Hamline University and a BA in History from the University of Minnesota-Morris. He is also a retired member of the Minnesota Army National Guard.
