This week saw a new-look Talon Outdoor, marking another milestone in the agency’s brief but very impressive history. Talon Outdoor was set up in 2007 as the UK’s only independently-owned Out of Home media specialist and remains that today.
Eric Newnham, took a majority stake in the business in 2012 with ambitious growth plans as well as the vision of providing exceptional client service, independent advice and strategic expertise and over the past year the management team has expanded to encompass many of the top players in Britain’s out-of-home sector, including; Steve Bond, Frank Bryant, James Copley, Yvonne Scullion, Andy Tilley, Nick Mawditt and Nick Jarman.
In April 2013 Omnicom Media Group handed Talon their entire outdoor portfolio and today, as a 60-strong agency, Talon ranks as one of the biggest in the UK and also surely one of the most exciting?
Its brand redesign is aimed at reflecting its values around vision, collaboration and transparency, capturing the independent, entrepreneurial spirit of the company.
Andy Tilley, Chief Strategy Officer and driving force behind the new brand, told us “Our agency represents so much of what is exciting and fresh about the vast, dynamic world that is Out of Home. Our collaborative, open and joined-up approach provides our clients and agencies with a different lens on the world, bringing our media owner partners closer and opening up the endless possibilities of an ever-evolving landscape. It is this that we have captured in our brand redesign, imagery and strapline”.
Their new strapline is ‘For a Landscape of Possibilities’.
