@Netpractise Appoints An Administrator?

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

Three people told us late Monday that Netpractise, a specialist UK developer of multimedia software and in the design and installation of audio-visual systems, sent many, if not all of its staff home (to await further news).

News has continued to trickle in. Yesterday, it appeared that Netpractise’s software arm is fully operational and still trading and that it was the AV installation part of the business that had ceased trading.

Sources have since pointed us at a Facebook post – posted earlier today in the AV Disasters group, allegedly from Kevin Taylor, MD of Netpractise, which says “We are currently in the process of appointing an administrator, please expect an update on who that will be as soon as we know. There is a statutory 5 day process involved however this may be quicker if the bank
agree”
.

It still seems like ‘locks’ have been changed, email addresses killed off and staff continuing to wonder if they are ever going to be paid.
