Pattison Onestop, a division of PATTISON Outdoor Advertising and a key player in Canada’s digital Out-of-Home advertising industry, is partnering with Bullfrog Power to choose clean, renewable electricity for its major indoor digital screen networks in an effort to reduce its electricity-related environment impact.
“Pattison Onestop’s bullfrogpowering its major digital screen networks is an important way to educate the public about climate change and the actions they can take to reduce their environmental impact,” says Anthony Santilli, vice-president, sales and marketing, Bullfrog Power. “By choosing clean, renewable energy with Bullfrog Power, Pattison Onestop is both reducing its emissions footprint and supporting the development of local and community-based renewable energy projects across Canada.”
Through the agreement, Bullfrog Power’s generators put 100% green electricity onto the grid to match the amount of electricity used by Pattison Onestop’s major digital screen networks. Bullfrog Power’s green electricity comes exclusively from wind and hydro facilities that have been certified as low impact by Environment Canada under its EcoLogo program, instead of originating from sources like coal, oil, natural gas and nuclear.
In discussing its choice for green electricity across its network,” Ian Gadsby, vice- president of digital technology at Pattison Onestop, says,“As an industry leader in creating digital experiences, choosing green electricity with Bullfrog Power illustrates our continued commitment to innovation while establishing a positive example within our industry.”
