Boomerang Digital have just launched CinemaChannel which by the look of it is a great way to bring on-screen ads to the cinema foyer and it seems they are looking to finish off rounding up 4 launch advertisers (1 month campaigns start in May).
By the looks of things, clients can use exiting TV, cinema commercial or audio visual assets and then (hopefully) engage with audiences whilst they queue for soft drinks and popcorn.
The network is made up of 500 fully AV screens in 250 cinemas in the UK.
Boomerang Media Ltd. recently won the contract for foyer posters and washroom panels, to support the postcard media format they already had here and this digital announcement is yet another partnership with DCM (Digital Cinema Media was a management buy-out by Odeon and Cineworld Cinemas of Carlton) – the opportunities for truly integrated campaigns are obvious!
CinemaChannel therefore is in leading Odeon, Cineworld and Empire cinemas in the UK and seems like a great edition to the Boomerang Digital Portfolio.
