Adding to the Glasgow Subway Digital 6 Sheets that Primesight have, we noticed these Digital Escalator Panels (DEPs) on a recent visit north of the border.
They’ve been operational for about three months we believe. It’s a Signagelive network, of course, integrated into Key Systems. We reached out to Signagelive CEO Jason Cremins who told us “It uses our player sync technology, which offers unlimited device sync on a local network, whilst being managed by our cloud-based platform.”
If this is the start of a larger rollout (and with the XX Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow this year, it’s surely very likely), and quickly adding up all the stations, there could be a further 200+ panels going up.
