eyevis GmbH [1], Reutlingen, Germany, has launched its new almost-seamless LCD display type EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-LD for the construction of modular video walls, with an extremely slim bezel of only 3.7 mm.

Eyevis management claims that the XSN display is a new milestone in the fields of LCD technology for video wall applications – the extremely slim bezel of the device allows video wall setups with a mechanical gap of only 3.7mm between the active screen contents of the individual panels, Ed.
The new display offers best image quality with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 Px), high screen brightness, and a contrast ratio of 3500:1. Thanks to the internal matrix function with the loop through functionality for RS-232 control and digital video signal distribution, the new 55“ LCD display enables video walls with an almost infinite number of displays.
For video walls up to 200” diagonal, the display can optionally be equipped with an infrared multi-touch surface with up to 32 simultaneous touch points.
