Woven Media (last rumoured to be three housewives working in a back bedroom in the Bay Area) have received investment via Hawaii in the shape of John Ryan.
All allegedly of course and all something to do with Sam’s club.

Adrian, I find this post quite offensive. You many not realize it but your comment sounds like a put-down of women – it sounds sexist. Is that what you intended? If not, you might want to do something about it.

Do you think your female readership is so insignificant that you can get away with sexist comments like this? I suppose this is one way to ensure that it will be, as this is an excellent way to alienate and infuriate half of the population. Imagine replacing the word “housewives” with any ethnic minority in this sentence and the backlash you would see.

I think the proper term is bootstrapping. It’s gender neutral, positive, and should have been used instead of the snarky, parenthetical expression above. My congratulations go out to the Woven Team on the investment.
