What Are Barco Up To?

Barco, it seems are looking at the concept of an ‘app store’ for outdoor media.

As is usual (we find) with large corporates, they don’t wish to pay consultants and instead are emailing various people within the industry; we quote “We are now conducting stakeholder research and we would love to hear your opinion on market trends, present you our idea, get some feedback and see if there are opportunities to team up”.

Basically, they are looking for chunks of free consultancy, 60 minutes at a time, from gullible people who agree to talk on the phone with them!

Let’s see then. Crazy idea, too cheap to employ consultants, what else?
