elevate DIGITAL Raises $3 Million

elevate DIGITAL [1] announced this week that it has secured USD 3 million in funding from SFX Entertainment, the leading producer of live events and digital entertainment content focused exclusively on electronic music culture (EMC) and other world-class festivals.

This brings elevate DIGITAL’s series A total raise to USD 7.2 million and we are told that this tranche will be used to foster the company’s growth into new geographic markets. SFX has plans to use elevate DIGITAL screens at events, helping elevate expand its footprint as it aims for deployments in the top 30 markets by the end of 2014.

George Burciaga, CEO and founder of elevate DIGITAL told us “Our mission has always been to create a platform that allows advertisers and content producers to connect with consumers through an engaging digital interface at the street level. This investment will allow us to roll out our technology in new markets, especially internationally.”

Since its founding in 2011, elevate DIGITAL has deployed more than 70 screens across several cities. The company has also established partnerships with organizations such as Groupon, The Tribune Company and the American Red Cross, among others.
