For Mother’s Day, Lamar Advertising [1] is giving the public the opportunity to show their moms some love and recognition on their digital billboards nationwide.
[2]Similar to Mashable [3]’s Mother’s Day initiative, Lamar’s #InspiredByMom campaign ties in social media and digital out-of-home.
To recognize your mother, you first go to Lamar Advertising Company’s Facebook page [4], upload a photo of you and your mom to the #InspiredByMom album, and tell why she inspires you with #InspiredByMom. You can also tweet using the #InspiredByMom [5] to @LamarOOH [6].
Lamar will then display your Facebook photo and caption or tweet on digital billboards across the U.S.. The company will be streaming the photos/tweets to its digital billboards all week through Mother’s Day.
