Slim Chickens Selects Delphi 4 Digital Menu Content Management & Drive-Thru

Delphi Display Systems Inc. [1], Costa Mesa, California-based provider of consumer engagement and business optimization technology solutions in the food service and consumer retail markets, has installed its full Insight technology platform at Slim Chickens [2]‘ newest store opened in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

delphi_display_systems_logo [3]The platform consists of the Insight Engage enterprise digital menu Content Management System software, Insight Track drive-thru timing system, Insight Inform wireless communication system, and Insight Verify drive-thru order confirmation system. Delphi also designed the content for the Slim Chickens menu boards, both for the in-store and drive-thru screens.

“Slim Chickens has chosen to partner with Delphi Display Systems for our interior and exterior digital menu board content management and drive-thru communications technology after an exhaustive search for the best-in-class solution to cloud based menu management – accompanied with excellent customer service – for our company and franchised locations,” says Greg Smart, Slim Chickens co-founder and chief marketing officer. “Digital menu boards give us a tremendous amount of flexibility to direct sales of certain products without the design and production time constraints of static/printed menus.”

Smart says that Slim Chickens plans to work with Delphi’s team as it expands across the U.S..

Delphi’s Insight system is scalable from the small multi-unit QSR brand to the major chain with thousands of locations. All configuration, management and reporting are performed from any web-enabled device.

Ken Neeld, Delphi’s president and CEO, says that Delphi is looking forward to help Slim Chickens achieve its digital marketing and operational objectives as it grows its brand and “Our Insight platform will give it the tools and scale it needs to reach its aggressive expansion plans over the next decade.”

Slim Chickens opened in 2003 in Arkansas with a focus on culinary excellence in a fast casual setting and currently has 14 locations. It plans to have a national footprint of 600 restaurants over the next decade.
