CCO Lights Boston’s South Station Red, White and Blue For Independence Day

Clear Channel Outdoor and Equity Office have illuminated Boston’s South Station red, white and blue in celebration of the U.S. birthday and July 4th holiday weekend.

The patriotic tribute will greet commuters and those visiting the city from sundown to sunup through Sunday, July 6.

The exterior façade of the building is aglow in the colors of Old Glory to represent American pride and support for U.S troops. South Station’s specialized LED lighting system, which has the ability to create custom light shows with over 16 million colors, is being used for the lighting.

Clear Channel Outdoor-Boston became the official advertising media provider for South Station, one of Boston’s two busiest transit hubs, in January, 2014. The South Station media portfolio represented by CCO includes 75 ad displays and two digital screens, all positioned to deliver immersive brand experiences with local and national businesses.

Located in the heart of Boston’s major business district, South Station is a restored historic landmark and acts as the major downtown commuter rail station, serving 4 million visitors monthly.

Equity Office is one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the U.S.. It manages South Station Boston among its properties.
