What is it then? Acquisition August? We said last week “August can be a very quiet month but that doesn’t seem to have been the case so far this year” and once again we have been proved correct.
We were briefed earlier this week on quite a big acquisition. Unfortunately the story is under embargo and not surprisingly this big public company didn’t want to schedule the press release to go out one hour earlier than they intended to meet the needs of our Daily Newsletter email.
Bottom line, if you check back at 14:00 BST the story will be up at the top of our site BUT it won’t be (due to it missing our own 12:59 BST deadline) in today’s email blast!!
