New York Digital Signage Week

DD_NYDSW_logo_R_2017_RGB [1]New York Digital Signage Week [1] takes place Monday October 30 to Friday November 3, 2017.

This year, the week kicks off a little earlier than usual, Monday morning, as opposed to the afternoon with the first of four major conferences being held during the week.

The official site (which you can find here) [2] contains all of the very latest event listings so we won’t go into detail on them all hereabout needless to say the week is the usual heady mix of FREE and PAID for events – conferences, showcases, cocktails events, open houses, breakfast debates, tours and other ad-hoc activities. Last year 25 events took place during the week and it looks as though there will be a few more than that this time around.

The week has once again be supported by all the major industry associations; thanks to the Advertising Research Foundation, the Digital Signage Federation, the DPAA, the OAAA and the SEGD as well as all of the big screen and LED manufacturers; BARCO, Christie, Daktronics, LG, NEC Display Solutions and Samsung.

We’d like to thank all of those people putting on events (whether big or small) and especially those sponsoring the week proper (Barco, BrightSign, Digital Signage Expo, ELO, LiveDOOH, Peerless AV and the MTA) and those supporting any of the events taking place that week.  Without their financial support and help and guidance there would be no week. The suggested hashtag for the week is #NYDSW.

It’s still not too late to put on your own event and we’ve created ‘Your Guide To Creating a Pop-Up Event During New York Digital Signage Week’, email Russcurry@gmail.com if you want a copy, which explains how easy and beneficial it can be.

The official hotel for New York Digital Signage Week is New York’s iconic Roosevelt Hotel, known as the ‘Grande Dame of Madison Avenue’. A limited number of sleeping rooms have been reserved at a preferred rate (US$299) for delegates attending any event during New York Digital Signage Week. To benefit from this special rate, delegates to New York Digital Signage Week should register here [3].

If you are requesting pre or post dates outside of the outlined registration link dates, please e-mail your reservation request to reservations@rooseveltnyc.com, provide your dates and refer to the group code CDP017. Any available agent will be happy to assist you. You may also call reservations +1-212-885-6000 or toll free at +1-888-833-3969.
